Q. How long will my finished video be?
A. The length will vary because each project is unique and
we pride ourselves on thinking of it as such. In general,
a biography, wedding video, or any of our larger
production services will range from 20 minutes to one
hour on the final edited product. We only use the best
shots in our final product because more does not mean
better, more usually means "boring". We are not in the
business of supplying you with a long, boring home
video, we are telling a video STORY that you will want to
watch again and again.

Q. Some of your services say "Prices starting at...".
What does that really mean?
A. It means each project is unique and we will design a
custom package for you based on what you want and to
meet your budget. Don't worry, the price will be agreed
upon before you sign the contract, and there will be no
"hidden surprises" in the final invoice. We will be up
front with you about everything. Our reputation depends
upon dealing with our clients with honesty and fairness,
and we are committed to doing just that.

Q. How much do I have to pay up front?
A. We require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the
project fee before production begins. Payment in full is
due upon completion of the project.

Q. Why should I use Cherished Memories Videos?
A. We have no fancy sales pitch nor high-pressure tactics.
We rely solely on the strength of our work and referrals.
We don't have the fanciest or most expensive equipment
in Texas but, with 20 years experience in broadcast
production and engineering, we are well aware that the
price tag attached to equipment isn't nearly as important
as the skill with which it is wielded. Bigger equipment
used to mean better quality but, with the advances of
digital technology, our image quality rivals even the most
expensive video formats. There is, quite simply, no need
to spend thousands of dollars for a product and
service that is similar to ours unless, of course, you just
like to spend money needlessly. We pride ourselves
on offering a professional video production service
that is financially within reach of the average
consumer.

Q. What happens if I want to terminate my contract?
Do I get my deposit back?
A. We hope that doesn't happen but if it should, the
contract states that the deposit is non-refundable. In
most cases, that would be the answer.
However, we are reasonable people and we'd look at it
on a case-by-case basis. You might be eligible for a full
or partial refund of the Deposit if little or no work or
planning has been put into the development of your
project yet.
