Rick Huffman began a broadcasting career in 1985 as a part-time disc-jockey. Soon making the transition to television, Rick was involved in every aspect of production over a 20 year span, which eventually led him to New York. Fed up with high-strung bosses, Rick totally changed gears in 2005 and started driving an 18-wheeler across the country for the next five years. After meeting the love of his life and moving to El Paso, he rediscovered his passion for video production and dedicated himself to building a company that focuses on quality at affordable rates. 

Dr. Alex Badillo is a retired chiropractor and a well-known and respected member of the El Paso community. He lends his appreciable customer service talents to Cherished Memories and also serves as an expert liaison between our Spanish-speaking clients. He is happy to serve our English-speaking clients as well. As a father and an active member of his church, Dr. Badillo understands the importance of family and the timeless value of preserving its memory.

When Rick moved to El Paso, he used an inexpensive camcorder and some cheap editing equipment to make a video biography of his girlfriend's parents. Though the equipment was a far cry from professional standards, he rediscovered the "fun" in video editing and, following rave reviews and multiple requests for copies, he had rediscovered his passion for it also. After purchasing professional-grade equipment, he was prepared to offer a unique service with unmatched value.

Using Ultra-Compact Sony AVCHD Camcorders, we can shoot high-end, high definition video without a lot of bulky equipment. Depending on the requirements of the shoot, we can use wireless microphones, shotgun mikes, or boom mikes to capture the highest quality audio. We use the three-point lighting system in our home studio to make you look your best and we always make portable lighting available for location shoots if needed. Editing is done with the latest digital software on a PC platform. We will be constantly seeking to upgrade our equipment and expand our services to give ever-increasing value to our clients.
